SETIAKU (D4 IT A)

          Last Saturday, 28^th April 2012, my campus hold a big event, it is PensCarnival. Many days before, my friends especially the girls decided to build a stand. Our stand name was “Manis Manja”. In the stand we planned to sell some snacks and drinks. So, a day before we prepared everything. We decided to go to my friend’s house in Sidoarjo, her name is iit. On 27^th April 2012 in the morning, we all have been stand by in iit’s house. We listed the material that we need to make the snacks and drinks. After finished listing the material, some of us went to the market to buy all we need. At that time I didn’t go to the market, so I stayed in iit’s house. While waiting them, we were watching television.

          After about an hour finally they finished shopping. They bought us a chicken porridge for breakfast. After eating breakfast, we started to cook. First we made Bitter Ballen. The ingredients consist of flour, butter, Bombay garlic, milk, meat, salt, sugar and pepper.  Then the second snack was potato nugget. So this nugget was made from potatoes. We were so happy at that time. That was my first experience.

           At about 2 o’clock we stopped cooking. Then we took a rest for a while. After that we had lunch with “Soto Ayam”, that was very nice because at that time I was so hungry and tired. After having lunch, we played Badminton in front of iit’s house. And some of us took photos using DSLR camera. That was the first time for me taking photo using this camera. This camera is really amazing. The picture was so clear and so good. We could set the camera focus so that the picture looks better.

            It was 4.30, so we decided to stop playing. Because we hadn’t took a bath and prayed yet. After that we went to campus to watch the futsal match in Pertamina stadium. We went home to iit’s house at about 9.20 PM. After arriving in iit’s house we continued cooking because it  haven’t finished yet. We continued it although we were very tired. I slept at about 1.30 AM.

          In the next day, we got up at about 4.30 AM. We directly prayed Subuh and prepared everything. After finished, at about 06.30, we went to campus by car. We carried our stuff into the car. It took about an hour to arrive in campus.

               After arriving there, we started to arrange our stuff and started to sell our snack. In our stand we didn’t only sell snacks, but also some drinks. They were milky tea and milk coffee. One by one the buyers arrived in my stand. And soon after that my nugget, bitter ballen, milky tea and coffee tea had been sold out. We were very happy, because the other stand hadn’t finished yet. We thanked to God because finally our snacks and drinks had been sold out. It was my unforgettable experience for me and my friends.
