SETIAKU (D4 IT A)

That was a big deal that the event just for you who interest to go to USA for study.

Made a coorporation with AMINEF and USAID, this event hold in 3 cities in Indonesia. Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan.

Now, I and some of my friends visit this event. Not only because of Mr. Rizal Kuddah is the local guide for one of the university there, but also I feel so excited to dream about study in USA.

Firstly go out with my friends are so  enjoyable. Because we all didn’t know where The Sheraton Hotel is. A half of hour around Tunjungan Plaza circle, finally we found it. The shocking news is Motorcycle can’t in. It means, we have to park our bike in TP. Not far, but heavy thirsty is.

After all, we can enter the Hotel’s ballroom. We registered together and took the handbag contains books and drawing text. When we come in, WOW, marveolus scenery was extract right in front of us. They’re all using English for the conversation. I just open-closed my mouth and talking “What are they talking about”. 

Lia, Rika, Hurin, Dewi , Ferdi, Budi, Hasbi, Satrio also sense same feeling. We are all confused. We don’t know how to speak up. We don’t know what we have to do. So, we just walk along the ballroom and search one person. Mr. Kuddah.

He is in Northern Arizona University stand. He knows us, and surely we know him. But, that stand is completely busy, so we keep walking to find another friend who we know. Failed. We turn back and go to NAU stand again. Ah, empty. We go there quickly and smile to Mr. Kuddah and Mrs. Nancy. 

Yeah, Mrs. Nancy is from Northern Arizona University, exactly the place where I want to go soon. I started the conversation and continued by Satrio and my friends all. We gathered lot of information and yelled horray when Mrs. Nancy praise Mr. Kuddah as our English teacher.

After NAU, we go to the other stand. Like Florida Tech University, East Carolina University, and SCAD. We’re all so excited going to SCAD. Because the major program is based on our likeness. Satria loves writing, so he can take Dramatic Writing or Script Writing. Ferdi likes Game Tech, so he can join Game Development. I loves Music, then I can be included in Music Tech. or Music Performances. That’s great. But, I know that the requirements are so thick and hard.

The main requirements for our grade are difficult enough. 500 for minimum score of TOEFL and 5.5 for minimum IELTS score. Then, we have send out transcript of score from the beginning college till now. Besides, we have to knowfull another information about living cost, the culture and the food there. It's pretty hard for me especially.

Yeah, the major conclusion we can take there, all over major Informatics and Computer Engineering, is we must study hard. 

I know that my English isn’t as good as Satria, but my desire to catch my NAU will never stop.

I know that my TOEFL score is about 470, but my great pleasure to study in NAU is over 9999.

After all, whatever it takes, I have always study hard. Increase my English and Computer Science, then I will take a scolarship to get serious concern in USA.

So, friends, don’t be  afraid of your dream. Whatever dream do you have, believe it, and you can catch it.
