Chit-Chat: Becoming a Novelist

At first, becoming novelist wasn’t my goal. My true goal is becoming a comic-writer. I began to make a comic at 3rd year of junior highshcool. At that time, I managed to make one chapter of my comic and made (or perhaps insisted) my friends to write it. The first thing that came to my friends’ mind was: WHAT A HORRIBLE DRAWING. But, all of my friends said that the story wasn’t bad enough. Then, came an idea  to become a novelist (novelist just has to write though).

So, I began to write a novel. The first novel I made was a horror novel titled ‘Ghost of the Red Axe’. The story was about a boy named Ronny found a misterious book. This book was originallly owned by the Ghost of the Red Axe and he would haunt down everybody who had the book.

It took me about a month to finish it. The first reader of my first novel was my older sister. She said that the story was kinda interesting but all of the words were all messed up and annoyed the reader. After hearing so, I didn’t send my novel to a publisher and took it as an experience. Instead, I began to write other novel.

‘Meteorain Saga: The First Drop’ was my second novel I made. It was a saga about some people granted a super power by a fallen meteor. The characters were: Peter Anima (Peter), Caesar Metalicoast (Caesar), Gabriella Illya (Illya), and Samantha Scarlett (Sam). Peter was considered to be the main characters. He has the abilities that all of the animals’. He was able to fly like an eagle, crawl on the wall like a spider, and run at high speed like cheetah. Caesar granted with superhuman strenght and almost invicible defenses thanks to his metal skin. Illya, who at first was a dumb, became a highly intellegence human. She could hack any kind of computer with ease, made a brilliant strategies, and even a powerful weapon just using batteries and a steel pipe. Sam had a ablity to see pasts and futures. She was the one who connect all of the character in Meteorain Saga.
I tried sending my Meteroin Saga: The First Drop to publishers about six times. And got rejected. ALL. That was kinda depressing though, but I tried my best to stand up again.

Then, at my 2nd year of senior highschool, I finished another novel, this one was titled ‘The Galau Writer’. After a long stories, hardworks, sweats, and tears I got a message from the publisher that my novel almost likely was going to be published! They said that the final decision is going to come out on may. THIS YEAR!! Hooraay!!

Well, just pray for me friends that this will be ended happily. Wish me luck!!

Cheers!!
