Hey there, I've already seen my high school's photos in my notebook, and now I miss them so damn much :( yeah the best thing I've ever had with them (my classmates) during senior high school was "Cheerliar". I guess, this name sounds weird on you, right?
Cheerliar is a competition among generation in Smala (generation or "gen" is the name of a class, for example, generation of 4 includes X-4, XI-4, and XII-4). And for each tenth grade from all of the "gen" must join this contest. There's something that can make this competition be extraordinary and be something to look forward, yeah the dancers are boys!
Preparation before Cheerliar was so unpredictable, because we've known each other for about one month but we were required to make our class be cohesive. When the boys were practicing dancing, I and my girlfriends tried to make pom-poms. The boys have to get rid of their shyness and perform their best (because it is a prestigious competition for Smalane). This competition made us tired and busy, we had to go home late and forgot to do homework (hehehe). But from this event, my class can be an impressive class, we can know each other and arise sense of belonging among us. Actually we can learn that friendship would be wonderful if we are together. at Smansa Gresik , where I study Senior High School, also has a event like that. But the difference is the woman play football and the boy become the cheerleader.
It is a embarrassing moment. You are woman, just look the boy action. But I'm the boy, feel so shy and nervous when I performed in the field. So many student and teacher saw us.
