How The RAM Works??

Random Access Memory
RAM or Random Access Memory is usually known as computer memory. Why it named ‘Random Access’?? Because we can access that memory in anywhere if we know about the address of this memory. So, this memory will allocate some data randomly.
The RAM is made of millions transistors and capacitors. These parts are paired and make one bit of data information. The data information is 1 or 0 (binary data). The transistors work like a switch to control how the circuits work. And the capacitors are the storage of the binary data.
Thinks that capacitors are a leaky bucket and the transistors are the tap. The transistor gives water to the capacitors. The bucket will not full because there is a hole in the bottom of the bucket. It is same with the RAM works. The transistors are process the binary data and store it to the capacitors and the capacitors will refresh a thousand times per second. So it will not full even we do a lot of task because the capacitors will refresh anytime.
RAM has many types. Some of them are DRAM or Dynamic RAM, FPM RAM or Fast Page-Mode RAM, EDO RAM or Extended-Data-Out RAM, SD RAM or synchronous Dynamic RAM, SRAM or Static RAM and much more. The sizes of ram are very various. Start from 16 MB and up to 8 GB. The price of the RAM are depends of the type of the RAM and the size of the RAM.
