( Kaf, 20 Februari 2012 ) - Negeri 5 Menara ‘s film ( The Land of Five Towers ) is adapting from bestseller novel who writen by Ahmad Fuadi that will be released soon in all of Indonesia’s cinema on the begining of March, 2012. It will be interesting film because it has some new artists ( result of long casting process ) and some young artists who has usual show in television program. From Ikang Fauzi as the leader of Pondok Madani ( in the reality is Pondok Modern Gontor in Ponorogo city ), Doni Alamsyah, Andhika Pratama, David Chalik ( Alif’s dad ), Lulu Tobing ( Alif’s mom ), Inez Tagor, Mario Irwinsyah until beginner artists like Eriska Rein.
All figures that resulted from casting process become some first figure in this film. Like Gazza Zubizareta as Alif, Ernest Samudra as Said, Billy Sandi as Baso, Rizki Ramdani as Atang, Aris Adnanda Putra as Dulmajid, and Jiofani Lubis as Raja. And all of them clustered in a unique group that called “Sahibul Mindzar” or “ Owner of Tower “ like that story way of this novel.
According to the synopsis of this novel before that tell about Alif as a son from Maninjau, West Sumatra do the amazing journey in Java land. Exactly as a student at traditional Muslim school called Pondok Madani ( Pondok Modern Gontor, Ponorogo ). He was not alone to pass strict days in this place, but he has five loyal friends and then make them feel close friendship like a brothers. Not only their frindship story that will be explained but also their fight to study in Kyai Rais’s Pondok was reviewed carefully . With principal keys from Arab’s aphorism “ Man Jadda Wajada “ , Alif believe that who is be seriously with their holding, so they get it. In the end of this novel, Alif can reach all of his dreams one by one.

“ It will be amazing film” says A.Fuadi when he was interviewed in the “Negeri 5 Menara” behind the scene. According to him, this film is really like with story way from his novel that has won kind of appreciation like Indonesian Reader Award and has been choosed as a nomination of Khatulistiwa Literary Award. Because only some scene that increased and decresed from original story in the novel so make him fell satisfied with the film.
This film is predicted will be in list as a booming film in Indonesia and may be in other country that release it too. According to new news that this film will be firstly watched in Watch Together ( NoBar ) in Pondok Modern Gontor as the most place that has been taken shoot.
