Graphic Card

A  graphics card, or graphics adapter is a one of the important hardware in computer system. It can generates the image. But.. did you know how did the graphics card works????
We know that The images you see on your monitor are made of tiny dots called pixels. The monitor displays over a million pixels, it depends on the resolution of the monitor. Usually the resolutions of monitor are 800 X 600 pixels. It means there are 800 column of pixels and 600 rows of pixels. So, on resolution 800 X 600 pixels, there are 480000 pixels.
To do this, it needs a graphics card to translate binary data for each pixels and turn it into color and all of the color build image to the monitor.
The CPU, working with software , sends information about the image to the graphics card. The information are the binaries data. With that data, The graphics card decides how to use the pixels on the screen to create the image. Translate into color for each dots or pixels. Then, it sends that information to the monitor through a cable. ¬For videos or games, the computer has to go through this process about sixty times per second.
The latest graphics card from nvidia is geforce gtx 590 series and from ati radeon is ATI Radeon™ HD 6670
